In the Midst of This Uproar of Artificial Intelligence

26 Oct 2023

We see how as advances in Artificial Intelligence, threatening the existence of more and more professions.

In just a few months, we've seen her evolution and how to generate simple images, it is now capable of generating complex images; how, from a simple chat, now helps analyze complex documents and how, after a few drawings, you can generate computer code.

Most don't even realize that we might be living through one of the revolutions, more disruptive in the areas of economy, labour, and social entrepreneur who has lived in the world.

Others, a few more, you begin to fear, and not without reason, that this could cause them to lose their means of livelihood.

Only a few have become enthusiastic spectators, or even effective promoters of what is happening.

And it is a train that moves SO fast that it seems impossible to become protagonists of this new reality.

While this disturbance happens and my mind spend long hours of the day to analyze, understand, and visualize how I or my company we could allow ourselves to even more in this revolution, I came across a curiosity. Today, I saw, at a famous landmark, one of those that is visited by thousands of tourists daily, vacationers, at LEAST, TO carry a camera on every one of them, a number of photographers offering their services. Some of you took the photo, and you handed over the instant. Other you took the photo and in a few minutes, we gave a professional print, frame, and in addition you sent by e-mail!

Surprisingly, people were in line to obtain this service, yes, in a moment in which they all have cameras.

These same people might, today, enter to these sites soon-to-be of primitive generators of images for artificial intelligence, upload a photo of any of them and ask the AI that the fall compared to the same landmark, and the result would be more than acceptable.

But, even if this were to happen, it seems that, at least for a few decades, will persist in the office of those photographers that offer something more than just a shutter and a lens.
